This visa was previously for sale at the airport of Turkey. You will automatically receive this digital visa by e-mail after filling in the required information. You can then print this e-visa or show it to the immigration service via your smartphone or tablet.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Is it possible to buy an e-visa for Turkey at the airport?”]Nowadays it is no longer possible to buy a visa at the airport. If you want to enter Turkey, you must apply for an e-visa online<\/a> in advance.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Which advantage will I get by buying an e-visa for Turkey online?”]Previously, they had to buy the visa at the airport in Turkey, which could cause considerable queues. Because you can now apply for the e-visa in advance, this is a thing of the past and you can proceed immediately after arrival.<\/p>\n

Moreover, you can pay in a trusted way via your own bank, Paypal, iDeal, bancontact or credit card.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”When and how will I receive my e-visa for Turkey?”]After submitting we receive a message within 24 hours, in practice this often happens the same day. It is useful to print out this visa and take it with you on your trip (in your hand luggage), as it is possible that the immigration service of Turkey, at passport control, asks for this. However, this rarely happens because the customs officer can already see that you have a visa through the digital linking of the passport number and the e-visa.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”How long is the e-visa for Turkey valid?”]The Turkey visa has a validity period of 180 days starting from the arrival date that you indicate on the application form, during this period you can stay in Turkey for 90 days, consecutively or over several trips.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Is my visa valid for multiple entries?”]Yes, you can enter Turkey as many times as you want within 180 days of the e-visa being valid.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Can someone else use my e-visa for Turkey?”]No, the e-visa is personal and cannot be transferred to others. The visa is registered on your passport number and name. If you wish to change this, you have to apply for a new e-visa for Turkey.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Am I allowed to work in Turkey on my e-visa?”]No, a condition for obtaining an e-visa for Turkey is that you do not work for a Turkish organization as an employee. You can only work with an e-visa in Turkey if you are employed by an organization that is not located in Turkey.<\/p>\n

It is therefore possible to make a business trip in the employment of your Dutch or Belgian employer with an online e-visa.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Do I have to apply for an e-visa if I arrive in Turkey by cruise?”]That depends, in case you do not leave the city where the boat docks, you do not need an e-visa. If you wish to leave the city, you must apply for an e-visa. Ask the person in charge of the cruise for more information to avoid problems.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”How much does the e-visa for Turkey cost?”]The costs for the e-visa for Turkey are \u20ac 39,50<\/p>\n

This includes processing costs, consular costs, transaction costs (with iDeal \/ bancontact payment) and VAT. You can also use an urgent procedure where a surcharge will also be charged. If your e-visa Turkey is unexpectedly rejected, in no case will it be possible to receive a refund.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Do I have to travel on the date stated on my application?”]No, you do not have to, Note: You may only travel within the validity dates stated on the visa for Turkey. To apply for the e-visa, simply fill out our online application form<\/a> on this website. After filling in you will be redirected to our payment page from where you can pay quickly and easily with iDeal, Paypal, Bancontact or Credit card.<\/p>\n

As soon as the payment has been made, we will process your request. You will always receive an e-mail within 72 hours (also check your junk mail folder) stating whether your e-visa has been approved or rejected.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”How far in advance do I have to apply?”]You can apply for the e-visa for Turkey before you have booked your flight tickets or accommodation. Usually you will receive the e-visa within a few days. To be sure, we recommend that you submit your application at least one week before departure.<\/p>\n

If you are already leaving for Turkey in the short term, you can also use our urgent procedure, which is awarded on average within an hour. However, there can never be a guarantee on delivery times, as the government of Turkey reserves the right to manually check applications before approving them, which in rare cases (including urgent requests) can lead to some delay.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Is it possible to apply for someone else?”]Yes, this is possible. For this you only need to have the travel information and passport details of the traveler (s) concerned.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Do children have to obtain their own visa for Turkey?”]Yes, a separate e-visa must be applied for for your child, even if it is included in the passport of one of the parents. Multiple visas can be applied for with one application form<\/a>, in which case you must use the passport data of the parent who has the child in the passport for the child.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Is my visa still valid if I get a new passport or ID card?”]If you have received a new passport or identity document after granting your visa, you will have to submit a new visa application. The visa and passport \/ identity document are linked to each other by means of the passport \/ identity card number and must therefore be agreed upon.<\/p>\n

A visa applied for with your old passport \/ identity document is therefore no longer valid.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”is it possible to apply with an ID card instead of a passport?”]Yes, you can easily apply for a Turkey e-visa online with a valid ID (ID card), but please note that this ID card has to be valid for at least your entire stay in Turkey.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”is it possible to apply with urgency?”]Yes, if you urgently need an e-visa, you only need to tick the option \u201curgent\u201d on the online application form<\/a>. If you submit this urgent application, it will be processed immediately and you will usually be granted the e-visa within an hour, please note: this is an average delivery time and no warranty can be given here, in exceptional cases an urgent application can only be give a definite answer after 72 hours.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”I am a status holder. Can I still apply?”]Status holders living in the Netherlands who are in possession of a residence permit cannot apply for an e-visa. A traveler may only apply for an e-visa with an officially issued Dutch passport or ID card.<\/p>\n

If you are a status holder with a residence permit but no Dutch passport, it is only possible to travel to Turkey with a regular visa. Via our website it is only possible to obtain the e-visa (elektronic visa) for Turkey. Regular visa applications have to be submitted to the Turkish embassy in The Hague or the Turkish consulate in Amsterdam.[\/vc_toggle][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]\n

Required documents<\/h3>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_toggle title=”Which documents have to be provided for the e-visa application?”]The Turkey e-visa application is simple, you only have to fill in the online application form<\/a>, it is important to have your passport or ID card and your debit \/ credit card at hand.<\/p>\n

Before applying, please check whether you meet the conditions of the e-visa.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Which conditions apply to my passport?”]All passports and ID cards issued by the Dutch or Belgian government meet the conditions set by Turkey. However, the passport must be valid for at least 150 days from the moment the traveler arrives in Turkey, the ID card must be valid for at least the entire stay in Turkey.<\/p>\n

What should I do?”]You can enter a zero nine times (000000000) in the input field on the application form.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Does my passport state the letter O or the number 0?”]Document numbers in the Netherlands never contain the letter \u201cO\u201d, but they can contain the number \u201c0\u201d. Even though it seems that there is a letter O in your passport, it will be the number 0. It is also important to know that document numbers in the Netherlands are 9 characters long.
\nBelgian document numbers may include the letter (s) \u201cO\u201d and \/ or the number \u201c0\u201d. Belgian document numbers are 8 characters long and always start with 2 letters followed by 6 numbers.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Do I have to book a flight and accomodation in advance?”]No, you can
apply<\/a> for the Turkey e-visa before you have arranged a ticket and place of residence.[\/vc_toggle][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]\n

Changing or cancelling an existing application<\/h3>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_toggle title=”I made an error on my application. Can I correct this?”]In this case, please\u00a0contact<\/a> us\u00a0as soon as possible to indicate what is not in order. Whether your visa application can still be corrected depends on the nature of the error and the status of your application. If we have not delivered your application to the embassy yet, it is possible to make changes. If your applicaiton is already in the hands of the embassy, there is nothing we can do. You must obtain a\u00a0new visawith the proper information and cancel the existing one.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”My application has been rejected. Can I get my money back?”]No. We must pay the visa in advance. If the Turkish government decides that you are not allowed to enter the country for any reason, we cannot get these costs back. This also goes for regular visa applications.<\/p>\n
