This document replaces the visa, no visa or label is placed in the passport.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;Am I allowed to stay with friends\/family in Tanzania?&#8221;]Visa applicants traveling to family or friends in Tanzania must provide the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A copy of the passport or proof of identity of the applicant if he is a Tanzanian citizen or<\/li>\n<li>A copy of the inviting party&#8217;s residence permit if he is not a Tanzanian citizen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Visa applicants who wish to travel to a spouse or child in Tanzania must provide the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A copy of the spouse&#8217;s passport or ID if he is a Tanzanian citizen or<\/li>\n<li>A copy of the residence permit of the spouse if he \/ she is not a Tanzanian citizen.<\/li>\n<li>A copy of the child&#8217;s marriage certificate or birth certificate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;Which type of visa are available for Tanzania?&#8221;]Various visas are available for Tanzania. The type of visa depends on your destination. The most common are a v<strong>isa for tourist reasons<\/strong> or a <strong>visa for business purposes<\/strong>. However, you also have a family visit visa, a volunteer visa, a work visa, a transit (transfer) visa, a conference visa, a student visa and a visa on a personal invitation.<br \/>\nThe purpose of your trip determines the type of visa you need to apply for. Our employees can advise you on this.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;What should I do after receiving the e-visa?&#8221;]After you have received the e-visa, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>you must print it twice<\/strong><\/span> and take it with you when traveling to Tanzania, 1 print you hand in when you enter and 1 print you hand in when you leave Tanzania. Also check to be sure that the information on the visa matches the information in your passport.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;Do I always have to present a visa upon arrival in Tanzania?&#8221;]Yes. Except for a few African passport holders, everyone who wants to enter Tanzania must have a visa in advance.<br \/>\nHowever, it appears to be possible to obtain a visa on arrival (transit visa of max. 14 days stay) at the following arrival points:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dar es Salaam International Airport<\/li>\n<li>Zanzibar International Airport<\/li>\n<li>Kilimanjaro International Airport<\/li>\n<li>Namanga Entry Point (Tanzania-Kenya border)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For all other border crossings, a visa is required in advance. Normally, a normal application often takes only 7 working days. An emergency procedure can also be completed in 3 working days.<\/p>\n<p>However, the embassy and consulate at all times reserve the right to take longer to assess your application than the specified average processing time.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;Do children need to obtain their own visa for Tanzania?&#8221;]Yes, anyone traveling, regardless of age, must be able to present a visa when entering Tanzania. After submitting the online <a href=\"https:\/\/visum-legalisatie.nl\/visa-form\/?dest=tanzania&amp;lang=en\">visa application<\/a> for Tanzania, you will receive a personal email from us with instructions on how to provide the necessary documents for your situation.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;Which conditions apply to my passport?&#8221;]The application passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 months upon arrival in Tanzania. Belgian document numbers are 8 characters long and always start with 2 letters followed by 6 numbers.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;Which conditions apply to my photograph?&#8221;]The passport photo scan must be of high quality and in color with a white background and taken without glasses. The photograph must be taken in the past 6 months. Can I still correct this?&#8221;]In this case, please <a href=\"https:\/\/visum-legalisatie.nl\/contact\/?lang=en\">contact<\/a> us as soon as possible to indicate what is not in order. Whether your visa application can still be corrected depends on the nature of the error and the status of your application. If we have not delivered your application to the embassy yet, it is possible to make changes. If your applicaiton is already in the hands of the embassy, there is nothing we can do. You must obtain a new visa with the proper information and cancel the existing one.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;If my application has been refused, will I be refunded the costs incurred?&#8221;]No. We must pay the visa in advance. If the Tanzanian government decides that you are not allowed to enter the country for any reason, we cannot get these costs back.
