Applying for a visa or legalization of documents can in most cases be done completely online and very easily at Traveldocs.
Do you have questions about how to apply for a specific visa and which conditions are involved? Then you can take a look at the relevant landing page under the heading visas in the search menu. You can then see which documents you need for each destination, which conditions and types of visa applications apply for the destination you have chosen and how the application procedure works. Is your destination not listed here? That’s no problem! Traveldocs is happy to help you where possible with applying for a visa for all other destinations that do not have their own page on our website.
Apply for an e-visa, ESTA or eTA
An e-visa, ESTA or eTA is an electronic visa which you – as the name suggests – can be applied for completely online. This type of visa is often referred to as an Electronic Travel Authorization. The country for which I need a visa is not on your website, what should I do now?
In addition to the preparatory work, we can almost always also make the application on your behalf at almost embassies and consulates. Do you want to apply for a visa for a destination that you do not see on our website? Please contact us or fill in the other destinations application form directly. Choose your nationality, destination and travel purpose (and then fill in the details). We will then contact you as soon as possible to discuss the options with you and to see how our services can meet your wishes. Of course you can always call or email us.
Of course we can also apply for a visa for destinations such as Mongolia, Uganda (as well as the East African Visa), Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, Oman, Mozambique, Laos, Ethiopia, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Cape Verde, Uzbekistan, Ivory Coast, Gabon, Zimbabwe and many other destinations. This applies to all travelers with nationalities who can qualify for the respective e-visa. Traveldocs is happy to help you with this.
Apply for a regular visa
A regular visa is a paper visa sticker that is affixed to your passport. With regular visa applications, you must physically deliver your documents to us, along with your passport and passport photo(s). This means that your passport will be in the hands of the relevant government (embassy or consulate) during the processing time. It is important to know that here too we will never keep your documents longer than necessary. In addition, in most cases you can send additional documents by e-mail, so that you always have the option of flexibility at Traveldocs.
How and where can I apply for a regular visa?
You can apply for a regular visa through the appropriate landing page. You will then receive all supplies and additional information by e-mail. You can also read this information on the website. Regular visas are available for almost all countries and nationalities. It is often possible to apply for an electronic visa like a paper regular visa for a destination, depending on your situation, nationality and travel purpose. We are happy to advise you on this. In that case, please contact us. You can also always contact Traveldocs for help about where to apply for your visa and how exactly this should be done. We can give you advice regarding your application.
Regardless of how you submit your visa or legalization application, your (online) data and documents are always in safe hands with us.
How long does a visa application take?
The processing time for your visa application differs per destination and per type of visa. Typically, for electronic visas such as eTA, ESTA or e-visa, this is approximately 3 working days (or 72 hours). Sometimes this can be faster. For regular visa applications, this process can vary between 2 and 10 working days. This also depends on the destination, the visa processing time you have chosen and the speed of the relevant authority. We recommend that you submit applications well in advance to prevent you from not being able to leave on time. In most cases it is recommended to start the preparation of your visa application about 6 weeks before departure. Not sure when it is the best time to apply for your visa? Then contact us for advice.
