Applying for the visa can be done 3 months before departure, but the Cambodian embassy does not process applications until the 30th day before arrival. After 3 to 5 working days, the visa will be approved and sent to you by email.

Validity period of the e-visa

The visa Cambodia is valid for 90 days after the moment of issue.

Your entire period of stay should not exceed 30 days. This must take place within the visa validity of 90 days.

Conditions of the e-visa

Requirements per person for the e-visa (in addition to the online questionnaire):

1. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after your arrival
2. You must be in possession of a hardcopy passport photo.
You cannot apply for an e-visa if you have one of the following nationalities: Afghanistan, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Nigeria (you may be eligible for a regular visa)
You may enter Cambodia through the following airports: Bavet (Svay Rieng), Cham Yeam (Koh Kong), Tropaeng Kreal (Stung Treng), Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Sihanoukville (Preah Sihanouk), Poi Pet (Banteay Meanchey)

The regular visa allows you to enter all border crossings. If you will be entering the country by boat, an e-visa will not suffice for your trip, as only a regular visa that must be affixed to your passport by a consular officer at the embassy will be accepted at your designated border crossing.

Urgent e-visa applications

If you submit the required documents by 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and make payment by the same time, it will go into processing the same day.

However, these are applications submitted in accordance with urgency via our website. From then on you can expect a maximum of 3 working days (72 hours). Within 3 business days you will receive the visa completely digital in PDF format from us.

Do I need a visa for Cambodia?

Yes, travelers who do not hold Cambodian nationality and wish to travel to Cambodia must apply for a visa prior to departure. There are electronic and regular visas available. The e-visa for tourists and business travelers can be applied for via our website. Will I get a refund if I don’t use my visa for Cambodia?

If your application is approved, you will not receive a refund under any circumstances, even if you do not use your e-visa for Cambodia.

Therefore, once your application has been submitted, it is no longer possible to request a refund.

Is it possible to cancel my application?

Cancellation is only possible before payment is completed. As soon as we have received the payment of your e-visa application, we will process it immediately and refund of your payment is no longer possible from that moment. For regular visa it is possible to cancel before we submit your application to the embassy. If you wish to cancel a regular visa application and you still haven’t deliverd any of the required documents to us yet, please contact us.
If you made a mistake with the application, you can submit a new application. Costs for this new application are entirely at your own expense.

Do you have Dutch or Belgian nationality and do you want to stay in Cambodia for less than 30 days? Then you can apply for the e-visa. In all other cases you need to apply for a passport sticker visa at the embassy.

Do children need to have their own visa?

Yes, anyone traveling, regardless of age, must be able to present a visa when entering the country. This means that everyone should therefore also have their own passport, which will contain the visa.

For e-visa, the scan should be sharp and legible, the information page should be in full view. The passport photo/scan for both e-visa and physical visa should be of high quality and in color with a white background. Head covering is allowed on the passport photo only if it is for religious consideration: having the entire face visible is then a requirement.

I don't know my travel date yet. Can I still apply?

Yes, provided you take into account that you must submit a confirmation of the booking. This may also be a fictitious confirmation from Booking.com, for example. In addition, the stay must fall within the 90 days of validity.

I made a mistake in my application and/or documents. Can I correct this error?

In this case, please contact us as soon as possible to indicate what is not in order. Whether your visa application can still be corrected depends on the nature of the error and the status of your application. If we have not delivered your application to the embassy yet, it is possible to make changes. If your application is already in the hands of the embassy, there is nothing we can do. You must obtain a new visa with the proper information and cancel the existing one.
