All travelers with an EU passport, or those residing in an EU country with a different passport, must have a visa to enter Kazakhstan. Only in the case of a layover (transit) where the transit area of the airport is not left and the layover lasts less than 12 hours, no visa for the country is required.

If you are going to work for a Kazakhstani company, this is not allowed on a business visa, and you will need a special work permit and a work visa. This visa can be obtained with a letter of approval, which the employer in Kazakhstan must request from the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs and, once approved, is also provided to the embassy in the country of application.

After that, we will submit your application for you, and you will usually receive your passport with the visa back immediately. In some cases, it may take a few business days. We will then collect the passport for you and send it back using the return method you selected.

The appointment can take 1 to 2 weeks, but usually, you will receive your passport with the visa back on the same day of the appointment. In theory, it can be arranged within 1 to 2 business days, provided your documents are complete and meet the embassy’s requirements, and there is availability to schedule an appointment the following day, where you must also be present.

The visa is usually valid for 3, 6, or 12 months, with a stay allowed for 30 to 90 days at a time.

Yes, it is possible to add multiple travelers to one application form if they are traveling to Kazakhstan together. Since many details only need to be filled out once, this can save a lot of time. However, all travelers must appear in person for the appointment.

EU nationals do not have the option to purchase a visa upon arrival in Kazakhstan. This can only be obtained in advance at the embassy in the country of residence. Holders of Chinese, Iranian, and Indian passports can obtain a so-called pre-arranged visa, allowing them to receive a visa for a one-month stay upon arrival. Some nationalities are allowed to travel visa-free, but unfortunately, this does not apply to EU passport holders, including Dutch and Belgian passport holders.

Cancellation is only possible before the payment has been completed. Once we have received the payment for your visa application, we will process it immediately, and from that moment on, no refunds will be possible.

If you made a mistake during the application, you can submit a new visa application. The costs for this new application will be entirely at your own expense.
