Definition regular visa
A regular visa is an official travel document issued by a country's embassy or consulate that authorizes a traveler to enter, stay in or transit through that country. The difference with an e-visa or a visa on arrival is that a regular visa must always be applied for in advance through a physical procedure. This includes submitting documents, such as a passport, photographs, a completed application form and sometimes additional supporting documents, such as a letter of invitation or proof of financial resources.
