The procedure for applying for a visa to Indonesia starts online. You need to open the online application form. After filling in all the details of the respective traveler(s), the application can be paid very easily. This can be done via iDeal, Bancontact, PayPal, or credit card. Once the payment is completed, you will receive an email from us within a maximum of 1 working day with instructions on how to provide the required documents.
For submitting these documents, you can choose to deliver them in person to our office, send them by email, or send them via registered mail or courier. Of course, you can also use our secure pickup service for a fee.
Once the visa is ready, you will receive it by email. You need to print it in duplicate (one Indonesian version and one English version) and take it with you on your trip. Therefore, keep the visa separate in your passport before you travel.
The application for the visa for Indonesia can be made between 90 days and about one week before departure, depending on the type of visa you choose. To ensure that the visa is granted on time, we recommend submitting the application a few weeks before departure.
Please note: There can be a maximum of 1 valid visa for Indonesia in your passport. If you have an existing visa in your passport, the validity of that old visa will be voided.
If your stay is shorter than 30 days and you can show this with a return ticket within 30 days of entry, you can purchase a visa at certain border posts. You can find out which ones they are on the Important Information page for the Indonesian visa.
